The charming and picturesque community of The Heights is one Houston’s most popular areas. Only minutes away from Houston’s high-energy downtown and the glamour of The Galleria, The Heights is always within reach of the finest restaurants, elegant nightlife and outdoor activities. Trails and parks throughout The Heights provide safe access to running, biking and casual family walks.

Whether you are searching for a Victorian-style mansion, a Craftsman-style bungalow or a modern townhouse, The Heights has a home for you. The Heights is one of the few Historic Districts within Houston with a cozy, small-town atmosphere that is appealing to both young and old alike.

Throughout the year, The Heights feature a variety of community-friendly events. In the spring, gather with friends and family for a Cajun style celebration at The Heights Crawfish Festival. In August, the White Linen Night mixer brings neighbors together to support local businesses and artists. The White Oak Music Hall features year-round musical talent from across Texas and the world. Spend sixty minutes with friends and strangers attempting to abscond from the Crazy Cat Escape Room. Enjoy an outdoor fall evening performance at Theater Under The Stars. During the holidays, stroll down 19th Street and be amazed by the Lights in the Heights.

The Heights is composed of several districts. Timbergrove and Lazybrook feature single-family homes built in the 1950’s and 1960’s, many of which have been remodeled to meet the needs of growing families who want to be close to work. Cottage Grove has been redeveloped with single-family townhouses and is very popular with young professionals. The Heights and Greater Heights encompass the remaining area within the 610 Loop and consist of a mix of historic homes dating back to the 1870’s blended with new homes designed for upscale, modern living.
